Mission
To encourage the visual arts and art education in our community through support and enrichment. Membership
is open to practicing artists and all lovers of art. Each spring we award a scholarship to a deserving student of Needham
High School who intends to pursue art at college.

Demonstrations
We hold monthly meetings from October to May each season, consisting of demonstrations, slide lectures and
critiques by visiting professional artists who work in a variety of media. The meetings are held in the Community Room of
Needham Public Library, 1139 Highland Avenue (Rosemary Street entrance), on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7.00 p.m.
Guests are welcome.

Exhibits
We hold several major exhibits and sales of our members' work each year, at least two of which are judged
by outside professional artists and ribbons are awarded. We also have ongoing smaller exhibits at various Needham business
locations, currently including Middlesex Savings Bank, Travel Service Bureau, Rino Salon D'Italia, Bronwen Flowers, and also
the Wellesley Center for Progressive Health (Marino Center).

Membership
Annual membership is $20 (exhibiting), $18 (non-exhibiting), and free for Needham High School students (who
